Murder Mystery

I love Halloween! It is one of my favorites!! I love fall and I LOVE throwing parties! Daniel and I started a tradition with our friends that have become one of my very favorites! Every Halloween we do a murder mystery party. It usually starts on a Friday and ends Sunday. Its a big deal.. we even take off work for it.. no lie. We take our parties serious! So 2 years ago we did a murder mystery here and we started this grand tradition, but because I am seriously a slacker I never posted last years! Ill just do a quick recap... We did a witches and wizard theme murder, and it was sooo fun! We couldn't find another couple so we just did one with 6 and to be honest it wasn't as fun (the game.. the weekend was friggin awesome!) So here are a few pics from last year.
All the boys
Daniel was the wizard of summoning animals and he had a pet Dragon (which we dressed Fergie up as) I was the witch of wind and tornado's

Chris was the wizard of strength and Ky was the witch who transformed into animals
Stac was the witch of nightmares and Jay was a wizard of potions.

I was mostly impressed with our wands!!
We made these!!! HOW legit are they???

It was fun!
This year my cabin was being used so we couldn't have our party there... so we needed another location.. and what is better than a HAUNTED HOUSE????? We had our Halloween party at my Grandma Letham's house. Now a little back story about this house. I lived in this house with my friend Diana Webster for about 9 months! We LOVED it! But the house is seriously haunted. We had quite a few ghost experiences, but for some reason we didn't leave! haha This house will always have a special place with me.. :)
I was even more excited to have a murder mystery there! We did a 1920's theme Murder mystery.. it was very convenient because we had just thrown Chris our buddy a surprise 1920 themed birthday party in August so it worked perfectly!

Daniel was a Gangster & I was a club singer.. (my awesome mom made my dress) We were also the smokers ;)
Jared was a pro 1920s golfer & Stac was a reporter
Ryan was a pro baseball player & Chalyse was an elegant club owner
Chris was a sketchy lawyer and Ky was a flapper
We went up to Driggs Friday night and stayed til Sunday. It was soo much fun!! We all wanted to stay longer!
View from Grandmas house
We also got to have baby Jett come!! I just LOVE this little boy!

We played so many games, made a bottle band, Stac took a pop bath (my bad) and we laughed a lot! I love getting together with our friends! They are awesome and we always ALWAYS have a blast! The weekend was one of my favorites!

Two of my very favorite people

We made a packed this year also... Its sad to think about, but all our lives are changing and this may be the last time we all live close by each other for Halloween.. Our packed is; no matter where we live we will ALWAYS make time for our grand Halloween tradition.

Happy Happy Halloween!

Puerto Vallarta!

Part 4 of 4
Our last stop was the beautiful Puerto Vallarta. We got off the ship early because we had an excursion in the morning. We went zip lining! We had to take a bus to the location and it was about a hour away. There was so much to see! A lot a poverty which was sad, but it was still beautiful. We got to the spot and we were surrounded by trees! To be honest I was freaking out. I am not the biggest fan of heights.. I am tall so I have a further way to fall! They taught us the basics then we were off! We weren't allowed to take pictures of us actually zip lining so these are from after.

But let me tell you it was a work out! Our guides were a lot of fun they gave be a hard time because I may have been a little dramatic.. MAYBE! We were in charge of stopping ourselves and that scared me the most! What if I don't stop and hit a tree.. what if I stop to early and get hit by another zip linner! (side note Staci did stop to early and got in trouble) But I did great! I am pro! It was so much fun!

Later we went to old town Puerto Vallarta to shop and hang out, and.... we ate at McDonald's!! We are in Mexico and we go to McDonald's... haha It was delicious! We went and bartered at some shops and bought some fun gifts. The boys loved to barter.. We later went played in the ocean. It was so much fun.. We couldn't stop laughing! My stomach hurt from laughing and my face hurt from getting smoked by the waves! I drank most of the ocean I swear, but it was worth it :) We stayed and played on the beach until sunset, then we wanted to do more shopping.

The night life in Puerto Vallarta was our favorite! There was so much going on! Everyone was so friendly! I couldn't get over how I instantly loved this place and the people there. We are already planning our trip back to Mexico! We loved it so much! This is definitely going to be a hard trip to compete with! It was one we will never forget.

Cabo San Lucas

Part 3 of 4
Dream spot. Cabo. I loved it! True baby blue water and white beaches awww perfection. We spent two days in Cabo. The first day we wanted to enjoy the nice weather and do the activities around the water. The boys found a guy who gave a deal for snorkeling and a boat ride to the other side where the shops were. Snorkeling was a BLAST! It was maybe my favorite part! The water was warm and there were so many fish! We stayed and snorkeled for a hour and the boys did some cliff jumping while we laid out! It was seriously paradise.

We then got on our little boat and headed to the other side of the beach. We were getting hungry & this local guy sent us to the BEST place ever! Sharky's. We were so obsessed we ended up going there both days :)

Then we went para sailing! It was really fun too! It was a beautiful day!

We knew we had another day in Cabo so we wanted to look around and decide what we wanted to do. The next day we wanted to do some shopping and try out our bartering skills ;) Daniel was in heaven he LOVED it. We laid out and got fried and loved every freckle I got from it! We went and enjoyed a day in Cabo! The boys went and got massages while Stac and I headed back to the ship to get ready for dinner. We had to say goodbye to Cabo, but not without a gorgeous sunset to remember it with.
